London is 6, which means we just had another birthday! This year’s theme was Unicorn [if you have any little girls in your life, I’m sure this is not suprising] We had a lot of fun planning and organizing this year.

We invited her entire Grade One class (27 kids), as well as family and close friends; a guest list, totaling 65 people. Who has space for that many people? Magic Space did!

We opted to bring in our own food; we chose Little Caesar’s cheese pizza, Mcdonald’s cheeseburgers, hamburgers, nuggets, and fries, along with some additional finger food. Kids and adults seem to love a good candy bar, so Bulk Barn to the rescue on the candy selection. I’m a fan of cupcakes over cake; there’s typically a lot less waste, plus it’s easy to grab and go.

Instead of treat bags, I went with Cotton Candy Tubs with 5 flavors options; Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Pink Marshmellow, Pink Bubble Gum & Grape. I also serve wine and beer at all my parties!

For decor I had a lot of help; I ordered a 4-foot balloon tower; my boyfriend helped me make a custom streamer banner and there were a few purchases from Party City, Ikea, and Walmart.

I also opted for a Fiver Party this year; which means everyone was asked to bring a $5 bill instead of a toy/present.

Thank you to all the suppliers who made this a magical birthday!
