Obviously, I’m Team Wedding Planner here at Olivia Fata Events, so I’ve compiled a list of commonly missed items and details for your Wedding Day. I’ve been on both sides and I’ll be honest, your bridal party wants nothing more than to be there to enjoy the day with you and that includes your parents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

With 2020, and so far, 2021 being focused on Micro Weddings, I’ve been able to manage all the details with minimal additional costs to my couples. Plus you want someone to handle any last-minute requests for your day!

Transportation: ensuring the driving is arriving on time, you are departing on time, and everyone has their belongings.

Ceremony: wedding party is lined up, given a once over; their items are secured and not in their hands for photos; flowers are straight, boutonnières, and corsages are pinned.

Music: cueing DJ, cueing officiant, and opening those doors.

Rings: ensuring they are on-site and with the correct people

Marriage certificate: not only does it need to be in the correct place for signing, but it also needs to be put into a safe place for filing afterwards,

Vendors: this is my favourite to manage because this is how all the magic happens! Ensuring they have all they need to be successful and they are on time, set up and ready for their scheduled start time.

Catering: who’s going to let them know you’re ready for dinner service?

Set up (& tear down): this is the most time-consuming part of the wedding and can be exhausting on top of every else wedding-related. Those late nights and early mornings can be saved for the planner crew.

If you have any other additional items to add, I’d love to know!
